Brandon Walley is a Detroit-based filmmaker and curator whose work explores the intersections of humanity, ecology, and technology. His films have screened internationally at festivals and museums including Kunsthaus Graz, Strangloscope, Rooftop Films, Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, and the Ann Arbor Film Festival. He has taught film production at the College for Creative Studies, Lawrence Technological University, and YArts of Metro Detroit. Since 2008, he has served as Media City Film Festival’s Regional Artists’ Curator and is currently Special Programs Coordinator for the Ann Arbor Film Festival. In 2020, he was awarded a Kresge Arts in Detroit Fellowship.
